The intervention of DLS meant that the visitors needed 278 to claim victory – Jake Ross scored the bulk of the runs with 90 (from 82 balls) after an opening 39 from Jason Wright. Redmond Bolton (31 from 19 balls) and Nicky Bulcock (58 from 54 balls) both attacked the DLS target, but it was just out of reach as Burley finished on 269-7, Sam Lawrence the pick of the bowlers with 2-53.

Steeton’s match at Collingham was abandoned with the hosts struggling on 97-7 (Tremaine Dowrich 5-17), so this opened up the door for Otley to return to the top of the Premier Division table in their home match against Addingham. The hosts elected to field and dismissed Addingham for 118, Henry Barrow top scoring with 35 amongst the challenges presented by Damon Reeve (4-40), overseas player Mohamed Imthiyas Slaza (3-43) and Carlie Parker (2-35).

Ronan Brink then gave Otley a brief scare as he sent Ben Morley and Josh Atkinson back into the pavilion without scoring, but Alex Atkinson (65 not out) and Geroge Myers (47 not out) shared an unbroken stand of 112 to reach the DLS target in just the 16th over.

Saltaire bagged the full 20 points at Roberts Park by setting 270-6 and the bowling North Leeds out for 217. Sandeep Singh’s ton (110 from 91 balls) was the backbone of Saltaire’s innings, and he was well supported by Khalil Ullah Khan’ 58 and some quickfire runs from Muhammad Zulfiqar Khan (40 not out from 32 balls). Tom Alldred led the attack for North Leeds with a return of 2-49.

In response, the visitors were behind the game at 32-3 and once Tom Kellar (50 from 36 balls) was dismissed, it was always going to be an uphill task from a position of 100-6. However, George Wales (34), Louis Morris (23) and Charlie Sutton (41 from 27 balls) gave it a good go, though Ihsan Ihsanullah’s 4-35 ensured that the home side claimed victory by a healthy margin of 51 runs.

Tong Park Esholt were back to winning ways with a 62-run win (by the DLS method) at home to Hall Park. An opening stand of 195 between Dave Hester (105) and Lee Gordon (108) was the story of TPE’s innings before Charles Greatbatch claimed some late wickets with an overall return of 5-72, TPE finishing on 262-7. In response, Arsaam Malik (98) fell two runs short of a century and, after his dismissal at 146-3, Hall Park never recovered, ending on 215 all out following good spells from Saqib Mire (4-69), Jarrod Parsons (4-59) and Ben Roberts (2-11).

Bilton secured a DLS-related win by 16 runs away against Kirkstall. After being asked to bat, Louis Foxton hit 74 from the opener’s berth, with Tyson Windus (32) and Nicholas Walker (40 not out) also contributing well to a final total of 183-5 from a shortened 36-over innings. Harry Tariq took 3-50 and Harry Costello claimed 2-35 for the hosts.

Kirkstall’s response was limited to 28 overs, with Warrick Rhode (57 from 44 balls), Mustapha Hussain (36), Benjamin Fitzmaurice (32) all contributing well before a final blast from Mohammad Ibrahim (21 not out) and Tariq (17 not out) attacked the DLS target of 195. However, David Cummings got the breakthroughs with 4-53, which helped to restrict Kirkstall to 178-7.
