At the top end of the table, Week 2 of the 2026 season saw Steeton, Saltire and Otley all gain a second win in the Premier Division, with Otley top of the division by one point ahead of Saltaire following Saturday’s matches. Steeton are a further 4 points behind Saltaire.

At Cross Green, it was former Guiseley player Jake Whittaker that restricted North Leeds to 122 all out with a return of 6-27 from 12 overs, well supported by the miserly Damon Reeve with 3-22. Archie Ralphs top scored for the visitors with 43 but was powerless to stop a collapse from an earlier position of 78-1. In response, Otley initially struggled to 48-4 due to the efforts of Tom Allred (5-54), so Josh Atkinson’s 51 was crucial in the chase, and it was left to Reeve to carefully manage the home side over the line in the 38th over.

Farhan Hussain composed a well-crafted 92 from 125 balls to help Saltaire post a useful 184 all out at Roberts Park; Daniel Revis returned 4-34 for Burley. In reply, once Joe Hall (55) and Cayden Wilson (37) had been dismissed, it was a procession back into the pavilion as the visitors fell in a heap from 120-4 to 134 all out, mainly due to the accuracy of Ihsan Ihsanullah’s spell of 4-21.

Steeton’s win at Addingham came by a slender margin of 3 wickets. In a low-scoring encounter, the home side perhaps rued the decision to bat first as they went into the tea interval with only 121 on the board. Opener Jacob Parker top scored with 56 but didn’t receive much support as Paul Quinlan (4-43) and Tremaine Dowrich (4-21) dominated the rest of the innings. Harris Rowlett then ensured that Steeton came away winners with a vital 49 not out following an early wobble at 36-4, Ricky Palacio taking 3-41 in vain.

Bilton won a close encounter at Harewood Road as they elected to bat and posted 167 all out, Nicholas Walker leading the way with 49, supported by Rob Taylor (34) and James Ford (26). Toby Jacklin (4-54) and Luke Jarvis (4-46) stopped the innings getting away from the hosts. An opening stand of 50 from Gregory Brown (34) and Jonathan Haslem (35) got Collingham off to a decent reply, but Sam Dale (3-35) and Ryan Heptinstall (4-53) intervened as Bilton won by 14 runs.

At Esholt Lane, Pool chose to bat and scored 163 all out, Tom Watson top scoring with 43. Overseas player Jarrod Parsons returned 4-46 with the ball for the home side. Runs from Oliver Hardaker (33), Anoush Fernandez (25), followed by a match-winning middle-order 50 from Daniel Taylor, ensured that Tong Park Esholt eased to victory in the 35th over with three wickets to spare.
