Well, what a start! Yorkshire have made it three wins from as many outings in the Vitality Blast and have begun to get supporters dreaming of a first T20 trophy for the men in the club’s proud history. It’s not been perfect but what has impressed me is that they’ve won all three matches in very different ways.
At Trent Bridge, they controlled the agenda with what for the most part was consistent, controlled bowling, allowing Jonny Bairstow to get properly stuck into the opposition with his bowling variations. Then they went about the chase in confident fashion, Bairstow himself taking a while to get going but then moving up the gears.
