Weather wins at North Marine Road

There was no play possible due to a wet outfield on day four between Yorkshire and Leicestershire at Scarborough, with this 10th-round Rothesay County Championship match finishing in a draw.

Two hundred and seventy one overs were lost throughout this Division One fixture, with play only starting on time on day one and not getting out of the first innings. Today was the first day without out a ball bowled, and the two counties lost more overs in this game than they had previously in the entire red-ball summer.

Yorkshire posted 263 all out before Leicestershire replying with 84 without loss.
