After a disappointing start to the competition when they blew a good opportunity against Hampshire at Scarborough last Tuesday, the Tykes were under some pressure to get results against both Glamorgan and Sussex on their travels.
They came through both of those with wins, firstly a narrow one at Neath, followed by a comprehensive thrashing of Sussex at Hove.
Ben Cliff was among the wickets at Neath with 4-29 and at Hove, Will Luxton continued his most impressive season to date, adding a second List A ‘ton’ to the maiden championship century he’d scored at Scarborough a few weeks ago, while Ben Coad enjoyed his best return in white ball cricket with 5-12 as Yorkshire dominated.
